The report hasn’t actually been signed off on or released yet, but Lab Corp put it in their portal for the Halo Imaging doc … & that means I have it, too! I think the hemosiderin-laden macrophages are from my lung issues. Why that would show up in my thyroid, I do not know—& also, since they’re not being caused by cancer, I’m wondering if my thyroid symptoms indicate Graves? I don’t know. I guess I will once they release the report to my doc & I speak with/ her.

I made the best pot of #soup I’ve ever cooked today. I didn’t use a recipe, so I don’t have measurements for you—just keep tasting as you go. When I (Timba’s spare human) go swimming, she maybe comes to the edge of the pool once or twice & stares until I speak to her—to, you know, make sure I’m still alive or whatever.

When Mr. Boots (Timba’s beloved daddy) goes swimming, she flings all 80 lbs of herself in the water & sticks to him like a giant hairy barnacle & makes huffy noises & sometimes even grabs his arm in her mouth & pulls until he’s back on the stairs in the shallow end.

She adores him. 🥰

My son & d-i-l’s house in #Houston was hit. They & their animals are OK. Sheared off all their trees—roof & pole barn will need work. No power or cell service, but his truck is a generator & hot spot. He & his neighbors are helping each other bring all the broken branches & trees down. One of their neighbors got the top of a pine thru their house, but no one was hurt. That’s all I know for now. It’s going to be a while before I stop shaking. #tornados

Tink (in back) has had what we thought was a tooth abscess for a couple of days—we were giving her antibiotics, but today, she seemed like she was getting worse, so we went to the emergency vet. It was cancer—& it had already spread to her lymph glands. So we’ve lost our Tink, but hopefully, she’s reunited with Tibby (in front). I can’t believe they’re both gone.
