@DavidBruchmann @TodayInTwitter Because it's entertaining to watch the flames engulf Twitter (not calling it X) which was already quite disliked even before Musk and how to absolutely destroy a multi-billion dollar business within a few years with haphazard decisions and quick cash grabs.

@ProtonBadger @SubArcticTundra technically windows hasn't had much of it's ui ideas change since 95 (8, 8.1 and 11 were major departures and part of the reason their so disliked).

I would say it's probably more kde copying aspects from windows then sorta going their own path with those ideas.

Visual style that was started with breeze and 10 is debatable, graphic design wise 10 was just a simplified 8 reflecting design trends of the time while Breeze was a massive departure from sqeumorphicism

@atomicpoet After roughly 2 generations or if the previous generation shuts down, whatever comes first.

Basically a state where a platform won't receive new content or support. Playing 3DS games on original hardware for example is a lot harder due to the lack of supply of consoles, and is currently in a state of having everything for it shut down. That is arguably "retro".

11 years ago today, Pokémon Pokémon Black and White Versions 2 were first released for the Nintendo DS in North America!

They are sequels to Pokémon Black and White, respectively and are the second and final paired versions of Generation V.
