Tomorrow, The Dutch will have 12 hours with a negative (day ahead) electricity price, and a couple of hours with a price equal to zero.
This is caused by a high production of wind energy in NW-Europe, combined with a relative low ('Sunday') power demand.

Although to a lesser extend, neighbouring countries witness as well a significant number of hours with negative power prices.

I expect, this phenomenon will increase significantly in coming years. Agree?

Some Christians act as if (blond hair, blue-eyed) Jesus Christ is simply waiting around in a holding pen somewhere, and if they can just have a big enough war in the Middle East involving Israel, it will somehow trigger a trip-wire that sends him coming back to Earth.

Jesus already died, resurrected, stayed a while, and ascended up.

If we really want the "Second Coming of Christ", we should all try practicing universal love, compassion, generosity, and forgiveness instead.

Arguably, Putin/Russian money laundered through the gun lobby as campaign donations to the Republican Party, preventing any robust federal legislation on guns such as an assault weapons ban, has arguably been their most successful domestic terrorism operation against the USA. They have found a way to attack us from within.

New Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson wrote in support of criminalizing gay sex and voted against legal recognition of same sex marriage. He also voted for a nationwide abortion ban.

And every Republican in the House just voted for him to be Speaker.

I see a lot of articles along these lines. “The Kamala Harris Question.” “The Challenge for Kamala Harris.” And so on. I just don’t remember similar articles about other VPs. “The Dan Quayle Question.” “The Challenge for VP Biden.” Vice Presidents are there to support the president and largely don’t have much else official to do. But the media and the public are holding Harris to a higher standard. Hmmm. I wonder why?

I am old enough to remember people rallying around George W. Bush after 9/11 and despite the plane hijackers all being from Saudi Arabia, he and the neocons misled the nation into two quagmires in Asia.
