The single most beneficial electoral reform we could make in America is abolition of the antiquated, slavery-era Electoral College. That would end the blue state / red state divide.

Every vote across the country would have equal importance and value with a national popular vote.

We could have a runoff in December if no one wins over 50% on the first round in November or use ranked-choice voting like Ireland and do it on one day.

(1) a Presidential coup that has not (yet) succeeded, but had a flashpoint with the insurrection of January 6, 2021.

(2) a Judicial coup in which Mitch McConnell denied President Obama a Supreme Court appointment. then rushed Justice Barrett onto the bench. That coup succeeded.

There a method to Alabama's Supreme Court madness ruling that embryos are "children". They are setting up a case to appeal to the Supreme Court -- the same one that overturned Roe v. Wade -- to get a "personhood" ruling that life begins at conception applied nationwide.

Theocrats have been scheming and plotting for this oportunity for five decades and they finally have the Supreme Court of their dreams.
