One of the ideas I’ve been kicking around for the #Fediverse is promotion of small businesses by Fedizens. This includes tools, apps, and services, not all of which have to necessarily be super developer-focused.

Since the Pachli project started the goal has been to "provide a first class organisation to manage the development of the application under the 7 cooperative principles".

The project is now a step closer to that goal, as the Nivenly Foundation (@nivenly) membership and board have voted to accept the project's membership application.

I think following specific hashtags of a profile would be useful. Technically it's like following a profile but the timeline posts filtered by specific hashtags. Perhaps similar logic on Mastodon, to hiding boosts from profile or filtering posts by subscribed languages.

Could probably solve the issue where folks create multiple accounts for different interests or circles.

I've been thinking about restarting work on #Tapir. Development stopped because I hit a wall with the database system. Writing Tapir in #Deno was a long sequence of yak-shaving without much payoff; most of my dev time was spent implementing JSON-LD, Web Signatures, and a database layer that should have been a library if Deno had better Node compatibility at the time.

I'm working on a spreadsheet to monitor which organizations, celebrities and other major accounts have truly made the exit from X, and where they're going.

I'm not tracking dual-posters, or people who've said they'll quit but actually haven't.
