Pro Grundschleppnetzfischerei in Meeresschutzgebieten(!) ❌
Gegen Brachen in der Landwirtschaft ❌
Und ich lasse mir nicht das Märchen verkaufen, das sei alles nur wegen der #FDP. Es ist nur der Wille zur "Macht" und fehlendes Rückgrat.
@mina Deine Enttäuschung ist nachvollziehbar, weil viele Entscheidung zum Koalitionsfrieden nicht unbedingt grün ausfielen. Ich frage mich dann immer: Was hätte ich besser gemacht. Wir müssen uns daran erinnern, dass wir keinen grünen Mehrheitskanzler haben. Die Grünen sind jene, die der AfD diametral gegenüberstehen und in den Bundestag einziehen. Die Klimakrise und andere Krisen sind heftig, aber die akuteste für Deutschland ist derzeit die drohende Zerstörung der Demokratie.
@mina Dann ist das so und schade, weil dieser Politikverdruss genau jetzt der AfD in die Karten spielt. Ich glaube nicht, dass es den Grünen um Pöstchen ging, als sie die Koalition eingingen und auch danach viele Kröten schluckten. Nur dank ihnen gibt es ein Minimum an grüner Politik in der Regierung. Für mehr Grün hätte es mehr Stimmen für sie gebraucht. Nun verlieren sie deine, weil sie zu klein und schwach sind.
@mina Ich kann es verstehen, weil es viele Momente des Zweifelns gab und geben wird. Nur lässt mich das Erstarken der AfD und eine Regierung ohne grüne Politik nur noch mehr verzweifeln.
@mina Die gefährlichste Partei für die AfD sind derzeit nur die Grünen. Jede Stimme, die den Grünen fehlt, schmerzt der Demokratie. Aber vielleicht schaffen es ja neue, kleinere, demokratische Parteien in den Bundestag. Zu wünschen wäre es. Und ich meine nicht Wagenknecht.

She led her walkout more than 4 years before Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus, and before MLK, Jr. embraced nonviolence as the way to equality.

Das muss hergestellt werden", so gedeutet, dass die heutigen Bundesstraßen breiter sind als früher und ich ging davon aus, dass diese Breite sich an der Breite der Fahrzeuge orientiert. Bin da Laie, aber was definiert eigentlich die Breite einer Bundesstraße?
A significant number of white Americans opposed fighting in a civil war that would grant freedom to Black Americans. Their concern was former slaves, whom they considered inferior, would compete for jobs at lower wages. Consequently, in July of 1863, a white mob, furious with conscription, targeted Black New Yorkers in an attempt to eradicate them from the landscape. The Union was not as united as it is often portrayed.
If you were Black and woke up in NYC on Monday, July 13, 1863, things got terrifying quick. For Black New Yorkers, there was no reprieve. Black life was dispensable to white mobs & law authorities. The Civil War, poverty, & rabid racism in 19th-century New York explains the events of that week. For Black Americans, the NYC Draft Riots were a heinous episode in an already brutal age. But it didn’t happen in a vacuum.
The perception of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X is one where the two men are diametrically opposed figures in the battle against white supremacy (political insider vs. political renegade). The truth is more nuanced. King and Malcolm X shared "convergent visions" for the betterment of Black America. However, their strategies to attain their shared goal were shaped by their disparate upbringings.
"40 Acres and a Mule" symbolizes the enduring struggle of Black Americans. This phrase originated in the Civil War era when the U.S. government initiated a land redistribution program to aid newly freed Black Americans, only to have it foiled by Southern powerbrokers & racists as well as clueless administrators. It reveals the challenges faced by Black folks in the ongoing pursuit of equality & justice.
In 1961, a mob of armed KKK attacked the Monroe NC neighborhood of NAACP leader, Robert F. Williams. But they messed with the wrong ones that day. Williams & his followers engaged in an intense confronration that sent the Klan bolting. Contrary to the prevailing narrative that they were hapless victims of violence, Black Americans regularly handled business protecting themselves & their families from KKK & other racist mobs.
Both Rosa Parks and Claudette Colvin were “rebellious,” the white and Black establishment BOTH looked down on them, and neither was the first Black person to refuse to give up their seat for a white passenger in Montgomery. The fight for equality and against injustice was long and difficult and it was a collective struggle, not an individual one.

102 years ago, on June 15, 1921, Bessie Coleman achieved a significant milestone as the FIRST Black woman in history to earn a pilot's license, 2 years before Amelia Earhart. With great courage and determination, “Brave Bessie,” as she would later be called, pursued her own path, striving always to fulfill her mother's aspiration for her children to “amount to something.”
