Red Bubble rarely features photos in their ads, just artwork - but last week they did a feature on Healesville Sanctuary. It had 6 photos - starting with 2 of mine - including this one of Kazuko, the very tame Eclectus Parrot. He liked to sit on my shoulder and nibble my beard. The keepers didn’t want the public to see that, so they’d take him off. This photo was taken just after he was removed - he’s looking miffed!

I updated a windows 10 machine that is too crap according to Microsoft to have windows 11 but they put their ai shit on my computer !

@melissabeartrix After spending thousands buying new computers for my business every time Microsoft updated Windows - we switched all our computers to Linux. Never looked back! PS - don’t be scared - Linux is easier to use than Windows.

Amazing what you see when you’re watching something else! I was photographing Vervet Monkeys at Werribee Zoo when this New Holland Honeyeater landed in the bush next to me. There were no flowers, so I think he was just curious.

Banksia trees are common in Victoria, with Coast Banksia near the sea, and these Silver Banksia in the woodlands.The flowers are at their best when young and fresh - like this one!

This is Vetch - an introduced weed. Goes to prove weeds aren’t always ugly! it’s a problem in cereal crops, but not so much in wild woodlands, where I found this one. No idea how it got there - maybe a seed stuck to someone’s shoe, or a bird needing to go!
