So I'm trying to install a piece of software on Linux, and I run a "./launch_installer.sh", and immediately it prints a message suggesting it is unpacking a JRE so it can run the installer inside the JRE, and I wonder if I am going to a dark place here

NOTE TO ZOOMERS: That's Java Runtime Environment not the other thing. "Java" is a programming language people used in the 1800s, when programming meant making punchcards for Jacquard looms

Was I fucking drunk when I designed this board? I completely missed 2 GPIOs to control a LED and a switch on the schematic, and I used the wrong SERCOM for the I2C lines which means I now need to swap SCL and SDA.

This thing is a fucking mess.

    I am reading about the Alameddine gangster who fire bombed Friendly Jordies’ house and it is incredibly wild in only a way a story about Sydney politics and business could be.

    The basic problem is that John Barilaro, a fairly mediocre former political leader, wanted to retire into a very good well paid job, and there just aren’t enough of them in NSW for the sheer numbers of mediocrities we have. So if you want one and you aren’t actually very talented, you’re probably only eligible for the ones with links to some very violent people
