I’ve been a Bernie supporter for decades. Why? Because he’s one of the few Washington politicians with the courage of his convictions, and he is able to push back effectively when it counts. He’s a force for Good in Washington. Having said all that, when it came down to voting, I went for Clinton. @GreenFire @GottaLaff

Okay techies: Every time I post a link to my website on Mastodon, everyone (including me) is shut out of my website for about 5 mintutes with an "error 500" message.

This doesn't happen when I post anywhere else, and I get 10 time the traffic from other sources.

People have offered me and my tech support staff (my husband) solutions. None of them worked.

A cataract is growing in my one useful eye. Thanks to the extremely unusual physiology of that eye, it is degrading my vision very rapidly; I'm noticing the change from one month to the next. Soon I'll have a somewhat risky surgery to deal with the situation.

Obviously, none of this is fun. But, that being said, I do have to admit that this is the most beautiful disability I have ever experienced. 🙂

It’s all about profits and ratings and executive compensation.
