Malheur, la Dreamcast est retombée en panne après moult réparations à chaud.
Je peux pas me passer de jeux de rythme comme Rez, Samba Amigo, Space Channel, Rhythm Paradise...
I finally just installed the #emulators from RA itself. The #NES and #SNES ones work fine, but I had to map buttons on my #XBox#controller and they don't support filters.
@schizanon@angelus_04 I've noticed that some games work and others don't, on the same emulated platform within RA. I've just been playing under Genesis Plus GX and FB Neo.
The original WWW proposal is a Word for Macintosh 4.0 file from 1990. Recovering the text, diagrams, and formatting was not impossible but it was hard. A great example of the use of #emulation for historical research and digital preservation.
@euanc 's research shows why we need preservation alternatives to migration like emulation. Look at how something as important as exponents in equations changes in various environments. Imagine if this was the formula for a drug or a flight plan to the Moon!
I just realized that PS1 and PS2 game discs didn't have any DRM. You can easily create ISO files using image burning software like Brasero or k3b (for Linux).
I am definitely going to start collecting them again and emulate the games I couldn't play back in the day.
Since I am not circumventing any DRM and I also own the game discs, I am probably still compliant with the DMCA and it shouldn't technically be considered "piracy" either.
I wonder if any lawyers can confirm the validity of this. If true, this would probably make PlayStation and PlayStation 2 emulation totally acceptable.
