I seriously can see a future Tribunal convened in The Hague seeking conviction of ALL current world leaders, fossil fuel and other harmful industry executives, decision making-Boards, even voting stockholders, for their collective destructive policies and praxes in the past 30+ and current years. Even political leaders with good intent and pledges to fund mitigation have not done all they could in the face of impending disaster.
Millions of people (and sea/land creatures) are going to ACTUALLY DIE because we have not acted on good data, nor funded solutions.
Losing their glaciers, the naked rock of the Alps mountains is crumbling and falling down. The effects of AGW in climate change are everywhere, and everywhere the forces of Reactionary Stupidity refuse to acknowledge it or do anything about it.

@CelloMomOnCars Ah no, that's a missunderstanding. There was no counter-demo. But the local "official" media let the news about that huge crowd quickly slip on the back pages. In CH, there will be the national parliamentary election in 3 weeks time, and the dominating rightwing parties--and the media they mostly dominate, too---don't want attention to diverge to the real problems.
Unimaginable what the coverage would be like if the crowd were farmers, or folks 'bothering' about immigration.

The non-coverage is even worse though.
This is why we need to do our own DYI climate coverage: one of the best ways to get climate action is to break the silence and talk about it: our family, our friends, our colleagues, people in our church / mosque / temple, and so on.
