Hi Sam. Thanks for your work on the specs. I'm not directly involved with the topic myself but as a technology advocate for #Fediverse / #ActivityPub spreading awareness of the issue. Original article quoted by @julian did that for TBL's Solid project.

On the fedi the story around identity isn't at all clear, other than that most apps implement OAuth2 with client credentials, and some apps offer OIDC facilities as well.
