I love using the trying all the various apps from the ’s. One thing I am not liking though, having to setup filters in every app. Is it not possible to have the filtering in the apps sync back to Mastodon? Why does it have to be proprietary to the app?

@kylewritescode this o definitely get, ye'd think they'd be able to pull it from account? 🤔

Coachmark,

@kylewritescode Are you iOs or Android? If Android based, what is your favorite indie app to use?

Lazy developers? Ok, let's not be unkind.... Developers with priorities elsewhere.

The Apps i use on my mobile and desktop obey my filters' setup on the web.

@daj Are you sure you’re reading my message right? Where in there did I mention anything about lazy developers?! I have the upmost respect for the developers of the apps I use.

daj, (edited )

@kylewritescode I'm reading it just fine. I am asking the question ... Is it lazy developers, as they have not implemented it?

And just for the record I respect the guys and gals too. Without them we'd have nothing

@daj Ah I got ya. Lol. I thought you were calling me out for saying the devs were lazy.
