@quintessence@jbeda i am so sorry for your loss… I encountered @nova and her work almost entirely through Hachyderm and I joined the server after reading “Hacking Capitalism” because I loved her thoughts there so much. Her influence has been in the DNA of everything the Hachyderm community has become and I am glad to have encountered her, however briefly, while she was still active as an admin here.
Can’t even imagine the level of grief you must be experiencing…

@quintessence I'm so sorry for your loss. I never knew Kris personally, but she was the first person I saw in the kubernetes ecosystem who made me feel like I could be myself in tech. she was an inspiration.
@quintessence@nova@jbeda Condolences to all. I didn’t know of Kris until the Mastodon migration and Hachyderm being created; but I quickly realised she was a great person both to learn from, and as just a good soul. One of my few Twitch subscriptions, and always to look forward to. Take care all.
