Kristi Noem, doubles down on killing her family's animals, posting on Twitter/X: "We love animals, but tough decisions like this happen all the time on a farm. Sadly, we just had to put down 3 horses a few weeks ago that had been in our family for 25 years."
@w7voa I don't think killing 3 senior horses is the defense she thinks it is. She shot the goat. It didn't die so she transported it to a different location and shot it again. She's no better than the sadists who throw puppies and kittens in tied bags off bridges into rivers or lakes. She shot the dog because it was acting like an untrained puppy. She's an awful human.
@w7voa
Gotta love the "Pro-Life" crowd that can't be aghast by the killing of the "unborn" while defending the murder of a disruptive puppy. #GOPHypocrisy
By coincidence, I kid you not, Minnesota Governor Walz just sat down next to me at breakfast and I showed him the response his social media rebuttal to South Dakota Gov. Noem about killing dogs received here on Mastodon.
Kristi Noem has survived a infidelity scandal, a nepotism scandal, a superspreader pandemic event scandal, the misuse of the National guard scandal, civil rights violations scandals, and campaign finance scandals.
@Npars01@w7voa
Noem is a perfect Rep politician with all these scandals. The more compromised a person is, the more useful and pliant they are to the big money behind the #GOP.
The RW media machine will overwhelm any scandal, so they win. The real blackmail power is that the machine will turn on them. Hasn't Trump taught us that?
As for VP pick, no. Noem would take too much attention away from Trump. Look for another boring nobody, like Pence.
@Npars01@w7voa
Yes, Noem's "I shot my dog" story was obviously intended to project a violence-based strongman persona.
Not reason, training, patience, just strict "my way/highway" violence.
Fortunately, the story was about a pet - and so all people could see how abhorrent the approach is. But if the story involved, migrants or liberals or LGBT, then she be the toast of the right.
Well, it's April 2024 and I feel it's time for me to admit to an unbroken 34 year long streak of a Politically Correct Gun Dog training method of not making any of my dogs pay for my personal failures by shooting them in the head.
