I went to Ye Olde Big Box Store to pick up a garden hose spray nozzle I ordered online, and was greatly entertained by the unexpected, if random, little hit of transmasc joy among the freebies they added to my bag. 🤣🏳️⚧️😎
I’ve officially been on Testopel (aka “testosterone pellets”) for 3 years! :blob_cat_dance:
Testopel is a form of HRT where tiny rice-sized pellets of testosterone are implanted in the body through a small incision in the hip / butt cheek area. The pellets release testosterone over a period of 3-6 months (the amount of time varies for each person.) I started taking Testopel in March 2020, after previously being on testosterone gel. I consider it a huge improvement from gel because my T levels have been more stable and I only have to worry about my hormones every few months instead of daily which is SO convenient and really helps with dysphoria.
Here is a thread where I talk about Testopel and my experiences with it. Feel free to ask questions if you have any.
I can't bind because of chronic pain, and trans tape isn't holding my tits because it's heavy, I can't do surgery either because it takes more than morphine for me to not suffer, what should I do? I'm lost.
I'm sure you've heard it before, but you asked. Have you tried CBD / medical marijuana? I recently started THC free CBD for my #fibro and was quite surprised by the effects.
I can't take opioids (too strong reaction) or NSAIDs (CKD) so I've been sruggling to control #fibromyalgia . I'm also #ActuallyAutistic . I'm a trans woman, so binding isn't a need for me. I hope you get some answers.
@janetlogan@spoonies@actuallyautistic thank you! the reason I haven't tried CBD is due to prices being too high for exporting, it's not legal in my country yet... so I take codeine instead.
I started medically transitioning in 2010, I went on compounded testosterone cream in the spring of 2010, and moved to injections in the fall of that year. I’ve done cream, gel, patches, injections and now implanted pellets.
So far pellets have been the simplest method of administration. No residue to rub off on my partner, no bruising, no pain, no itchy welts from the patch adhesives.
I have to wait to see my levels but purely in terms of process I would recommend pellets. #HRT#TransMasc
#therian ( golden retriever ) & #furry ( also golden retriever, plus a few others ). i bark a lot and sometimes i bite :3 i will be posting a lot of thoughts about being both therian & furry.
i read like most people breath, mostly #fantasy & #romance, or as i like to call it, #romantasy. i also read a lot of #queer books. i'm a queer romantasy writer myself, currently working on a novel about a transmasc werewolf & a non-binary vampire that start a polycule full of other supernatural creatures. you can find more about my writing on @fluffypawswrites.
i love all kinds of #art, & i've been trying to get into #knitting & #crocheting of late. i love #drawing & #painting, though i'm not very good at it, but i have fun anyway.
i'm known to be a #kinky lewdposter, however i try to keep to contained to my after dark account, [i will add the link once my ad account has been approved]. feel free to follow me there for more hornyposting.
this is not the first instance i've been on, so you have likely seen me around the fedisphere before, but i'm hoping this will be the last for a long time :Blobhaj_Love:
i'd love to make connections with other trans, queer, autistic, adhd, therian, furry etc folks, so please give this a boost so i can find my people :neofox_flag_trans:
I'm Nate, a 28yo 🇧🇷 transgender man, very autistic and going also through a lot of stuff, but I believe sonic the hedgehog will heal me fr
oh, yeah, I post a lot of my daily thoughts, I look like a little lad without graduation but I do have one, an IT grad, I love the silly computers a lot :neocat_cool: I'm still looking for a job btw :neocat_cry:
the tags below are just related to things I'll mostly follow here :neocat_flop: so...
I gotta wonder, do my #TransMasc friends here ever have threads among themselves about their goofy pre-transition selfies and odd patterns that they all shared?
I would love to hear what silly things reflecting on their pre-transition selves reveals about the patterns of transmasc experiences the way us transfems have been discussing. And I do think it's a nice way to find some compassion for the silly ways we all coped pre-transition.
@JoscelynTransient my first few years of puberty was entirely looking at dick pics and going "dang, that dick looks cool, I wonder what having that would be like"
Hard to believe it took me a few years after that to realize lol
@letsgoat yeah, a very cis girl thought to be having there 😉😂
I mean, on my side, the "cis guy" i thought i was reading story after story of guys magically turning into girls and being like, "gosh, I wonder what it would be like to have a pussy and boobs, seems nice..."
Hiii, we're The Fox Collective, we just migrated to wetdry.world from strangeobject.space. We are #plural (DID system), #autistic and polyfragmented to hell and back :3
Collectively we go by Fox and it/fox pronouns but our main host Kit goes by it/star/he. We are #transmasc and #aromantic
You may have already seen that our special interests are #englishlanguage and #greekmythology specifically. We also enjoy art, psychology, accessibility in public spaces and online (because we don't see it being done well a lot), anarchy, positivity, cats, foxes, and reading.
We will always have talk about ableism, mental health, and physical health behind a content warning. We won't boost images that have bad or no alt text.
Our girlfriend is on Fedi too, she is @GnomedDev the cutest catgirl around
We block freely if you hold beliefs that are spreading misinformation, are directly bigoted, or if you evade filters. Oh also we are a minor, so "minors dni" just fuck off for a couple months
A #transmasc#AuDHD here who is trying to get diagnosed with everything as I have realized that there is no way that I can otherwise survive the world around me. Also really wanted to find some friends, as I do not have many. It is already way too little, so any kind of discussions about really anything is welcome.
My interest tend to change from month to another, but right now I have interest in internet comics :3
Holy moly. I didn't think I had gender dysphoria (like it's normal to grow up and be an adult thinking you're "bad at being a girl/woman") but this has blown my mind in an aha-holy shit kinda way. Amazing work here.
@JoscelynTransient Thank you. I had always attributed my cPTSD to my unrecognized/undiagnosed autism (finally going through testing to see if that can be made official), but now since I cannot be gender truthful at my job (nonprofit software, clients are mostly churches) and my health precludes me from finding another job - the need to shift into self-employment is even more paramount now.
Layers upon layers, but just knowing that they're there is excellent. Thank you again!
@KitMuse I get how that can be and it was being in a situation like that which led me to my first steps to address trauma (even before I realized that's what it was). And there is definitely probably some related to autism and masking, because being neurodivergent in many societies is awful still.
My EMDR therapy often kinda jumped around between gender trauma, ADHD-related trauma, and trauma from one of my parents engaging in neglect and toxic behaviors. It all kinda gets muddled up together, but seeing the different ways it enters our lives and knowing which layers you're having to manage can help.
#TransMasc friends: would any aspiring trans masc writers be interested in contributing a piece to the #HowToGenderEuphoria zine on finding gender euphoria or what gender euphoria means to you?
I am hoping the first issue can speak to most of the trans, non-binary, and gender diverse community, but I obviously can't write firsthand about trans masc perspectives. Finances for this are still tight but I can offer $50 for a piece, ideally 2-3 pages long.
@SympathyTea I really want to work on getting this zine to a point where trans masc folks can enjoy and benefit from it too! It started as a solely personal project with my own writing, but I think I've hit a threshold where I can at least give some money as thanks for contributions by others.
Okay, and now I have to actually find some way to fairly choose people because apparently I have a few folks interested! I didn't even think about this because I am apparently a hack and a fraud. 😅
I'll follow up with everyone that has replied, with more info and guidelines. This is very much a DIY, learn-as-I-go thing, so might be some changes to this idea. The first issue isn't until January next year, so you can keep in mind the timeline and if that will work for you. So excited to have this fully happening 💖
