I occasionally get this weird #Calkey bug where the post panel splits down the middle and then shifts halfway in a weird way. Goes away after a refresh. Already reported by someone as an issue.
Am I the only one that keeps going to type #calkey instead of #calckey? I keep stumbling when I type calckey, my brain hates the c and k as distinct sounds right next to each other 😂
And how are we pronouncing it? I've been speeding through it as 'cal kee' rather than than 'calc key'. 'Calkey' feels... marketable 😎
Mind you, for the uninitiated, 'calkey' can also be read as 'caulky' — like something made of caulk. In #Australia, that'd be pronounced more like 'corky'. 🤔 (Yes, cork and caulk are different things, but we pronounce them roughly the same here.)
🤯 First thing that blows my mind is how wicked #Calkey looks compared to vanilla #Mastodon
🤯 Second thing is that I can even follow someone on a such a different looking app with different features, directly from my existing Mastodon.
🤔 Third thing: I wonder whether its possible to have the same Mastodon #activitypub handle but access it through a different app like Calkey on the same server??
Calkey is like a colt or a filly, long legged, knobby kneed, a bit awkward on their hooves at first with so much growing to do, their features are still developing with a bright, exciting future ahead of them.
