Today marks the publication of Lyorn, the seventeenth book in Steven Brust's long-running Vlad Taltos series. While this is definitely not where you should start reading this series, I hope I can convince you that this book is so delicious that you should go read the other sixteen books right now:

I ran a #HumaneTech awesome list at Github, but with a #GiveUpGithub this is now part of the #delightful project and you might PR findings to this list..
I actually did not make the logo, so I'm not sure! Unless I'm mistaken, it was probably made by @smallcircles who created the #delightful list project. I just maintain this one particular list. :)
I just recently learned about an in-development #3D#GameEngine written in #Rust called #Dotrix. While there are a couple other projects in the works (like #Bevy for instance) that are further along in development and super cool in their own right, Dotrix seems to be focused more on the 3D #GameDev experience and has it's own workflow that some may prefer.
It's not ready for primetime just yet, but they are looking to expand their community and bring in some more contributors. If you are looking for an #OpenSource project to contribute to and are excited to see more #FOSS game engines for Rust #developers on the scene, maybe give this one a look!
#Graphite: Alpha-stage graphics editor for 2D raster and vector art, powered by a node graph compositing engine. It is lightweight and runs in your web browser.
> I've never kept a list, but it strikes me how many people are dedicating to writing complete browser engines from scratch.. but in so many go-it-alone efforts, that likely the vast majority of these projects will strand. If only they'd unite, right?
For some I pinged you with the URL. I've also been in a thread, think with @aral about starting such united project (can't find that).
Holy cow. Today, I added a bunch of new software to the #delightful creative tools list!
Seriously. A bunch. New tools for animation, photo manipulation, CAD/design, a couple new music production tools, a couple new web design tools, some plugins.... it's a lot of new tools, friends. I think it is, anyway. #Codeberg says I made 30 additions, so I will let you be the judge of whether that is a lot. It is subjective, after all, but if you ask me? It's a lot.
As always, it is all #free and #OpenSource software, or as we say in the list-making business: #FOSS
If you haven't perused the list in a while, now is a great time! Check it out here:
I started the #delightful project. It's similar to Awesome project on #Github by Sindre Sorhus, but only curates lists related to #FOSS, #OpenScience and #OpenData resources. If @abundance wants that, they might maintain their own sublist and be part of https://delightful.club that is steadily growing.
