What is sparking the huge nationwide protests in Germany against the hard-right AfD party and its anti-immigrant stance? As Linda Mannheim reports, the protests are responding to revelations of a secret meeting held by AfD folks and Identitarian and neo-Nazi activists "to map out a 'master plan' for mass deportations should the AfD gain the power to implement it."

Exactly what Trump is promising in the US if he's elected….

"[F]ar-right Israeli leaders are pressuring Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to restart the assault on Hamas. Far-right national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir warned today that unless he does, Ben-Gvir’s faction will leave the government coalition Netanyahu leads. 'Stopping the war = breaking apart the government,' Ben-Gvir said."

Italy’s hard-right government is starting to look more radical as Georgia Meloni indulges in cultural and economic populism.

Admirers of Meloni and her Brothers of Italy (FdI) party like to describe them as “Latin conservatives”—no more radical than, say, Britain’s Tories.

But the comparison ignores significant differences which have burst to the surface in recent weeks, prompting open splits in the governing coalition.

The Rock and the hard right: Gibraltar fears the rise of Vox in today's Spanish election.

Talks on the border's status are still not resolved, and success for the nationalist party could lead to a far more hardline attitude.

Day 177 and #Twitter users are surprised that #ElonMusk’s decision to remove #bluecheck validation is causing chaos and the creation of impersonation accounts. That could never have been predicted?

#Decentralized #SocialMedia is the solution for exposure to willful and arbitrary behavior by egomaniacal billionaires
