Four months ago, I created a Bluesky account to play around this the API and managed to create a simple node script to post a status to it. I wasn’t able to figure out how to get it to work with IFTTT, though. This week, I spun up a Pipedream workflow to try to post an announcement when a new blog post goes up.
I got the "Your current Legacy Pro plan is becoming Pro+. You will have access to new features such as multi-account support, increased rate limits, and priority customer support." email from #IFTTT. I sent them a reply asking if I could just stay on my current plan. They are still less expensive than #Pipedream but more expensive than running a node script on a raspberry pi.
Today I learned that the Macintosh version of #PipeDream has a "boss key". Apparently it's much better if your boss thinks you're moonlighting for #LucasFilmGames than if he catches you playing a game.
I'm glad that @GMMKE seems to be working again. My plan for a while was to move it off of #pipedream and onto #cloudflare workers. That's something that would need to wait for a few weeks, though.
One of the best things the U.S. could probably do at this point is tell every elected official that they can't be re-elected, give the SCOTUS notice, and just reboot the whole government by electing/appointing all new officials over the next decade. Then, change elections to limit duration, money spent, and the general terrorizing of the populace by way of the mainstream media, and instead redirect the billions at citizens in need. #pipeDream
When the MTA announced discontinuing their live subway alerts due to Twitter's new excessive pricing policy, I took it as an opportunity to set up @mtaupdates.
