I waited for Android 14 AND app updates, and was close to naming this the "Folding Phone Camera of 2023", but what's going on with the sensors?

I know folks chuckle about old services like #flickr, but since being bought by a #photography company, it's been nice to see them improve their mobile app, especially for tablets.

It's tough wrapping my brain around foldable phones being so expensive, but also so thin they can't have the best camera sensors. At least they're not TOO far of a downgrade from the best phone cameras.
Pixel Fold is hanging in there well, especially for a quick #macro shot.
When I upgraded from a Pixel 7 Pro to a Pixel Fold, Google was offering a free Pixel Watch with every Pixel Fold preorder. Traveling light! So nice tackling audio edits from a foldable. We had all kinds of issues with my mic for this week's show, but I was able to balance it out a bit, without having to fire up a laptop. 😊
If anyone is interested in the #pixelFold phone and comparing to the #surfaceDuo, here are some side by sides. This is SD 1, I skipped SD 2 and am so far happy with the PF as a replacement. #foldables
The Pixel Fold has been really validating to use. I took a lot of flack for suggesting the Galaxy Z Fold hinge was the wrong orientation three years ago. I preferred the Surface Duo "book" form factor.
Now all these reviewers talking about how nice the Pixel Fold is for being a "digital moleskine".
