Am also interested as there is also some work on fish ponds in #Burgundy (of all places), by the anthropologist/historical ecologist Caroline Crumley, and there are great fish ponds in Japan and no doubt many other places - often more commonalities than we think (or at least i am interested in exploring commonalities at the moment)
