This was my darling Dizzy, the petite puss - even at the age of around 18 she had the size and build of a two year old kitty. Total poser for the camera, she was not keen on anyone picking her up, except with me, when she would happily drape herself over my shoulder, purring right into my ear.
For #Caturday , a monochrome portrait I took of my beloved, old Tortie puss, Pandora, faced turned to the sunlight coming in the window, the light also making her whiskers stand out.
Cuddliest kitty I ever lived with, when I came home each evening she would wait for me to take my jacket off, then a gentle mieow, which was the signal to pick her up. She would then lie in my arms, purring against my chest. Total contentment for both of us. Much missed tiger.

So, @FediTips or anyone who might know: I ran a #chat this morning & there were a couple people whose responses I did not see in #realtime (basically, showing a delay of 10-16 minutes). The 2 people were on the same server, BUT others on that server could be seen in real time. They were also on 2 different continents (1 in Europe & 1 who only lives an hour from me in the US).
What, if anything, can be done about this lag? What might be the cause of it? #chats#Mastodon
