Alright, it's an hour to #Monsterdon! Time for the traditional warning post, where I tell you that we're watching a terrible movie -- in this case, THE TINGLER, a 1959 horror film starring Vincent Prince -- and that your feed will soon be overwhelmed by toots making fun of the film! Block the hashtag if this annoys you, or join us!
Folks it is an hour until #Monsterdon, a weekly watch party for goofy monster movies! This week's flick is ATTACK OF THE CRAB MONSTERS (1957), apparently one of Roger Corman's finest. For whatever that may be worth.
Alright it is twenty minutes until #MONSTERDON, which means if you don't want to see a bunch of nerds watching a monster movie you should set up a filter!
Once again it is an hour until #Monsterdon, the weekly monster movie watch party. If you want to avoid a bunch of toots about a hokey sci fi flick, block the tag.
This week features STRANGER FROM VENUS (1954), in which a bug-eyed monster tries to get Earth to turn down the bass! No, I think it's about nuclear disarmament or somesuch.
We start at 9pm eastern, and you can find the movie on Tubi or YouTube. See you there!
Alrighty folks it is an hour until #MONSTERDON your weekly monster movie watch party!

Time to start my annual 🧵for #31daysofhalloween. I started in lockdown (2020). Now it's what I do every year instead of having friends. This year I have a baby, so I'll be watching on a cracked android, strapped to the front of a pram, wheeled around Peterborough at 6am #cinema
Ladies and gentlemen, it is an hour until #Monsterdon! Your weekly viewing party in which denizens of this humble portal gather to mock -- uh, APPRECIATE old monster movies :D
I'm one of those rare birds who still likes to see movies at a cinema. Sure, the place I live at the moment has a huge TV and a very impressive set of speakers. But even if we watch movies at night with all the lights out, it's just not the same.
Anyway, I can't help but notice that almost every time I go, I'm one of a handful of people in a cinema with dozens or even hundreds of seats. This creates 2 problems for cinema as an industry.
It is approximately 1 hour until #MONSTERDON, the Sunday night watch party featuring goofy monster movies! This week, a classic of Rubber Lizard Cinema, GORGO! It's time to watch the British try their hands at iguanas who hate major metropolitan areas!

20 years ago today, "Shaun of the Dead," the world's first rom-zom-com, got its full theatrical release in the U.K. GQ talked to director Edgar Wright, star/co-writer Simon Pegg and co-star Nick Frost about George Romero, cricket-bat-swinging, record-hurling, and whether they'll ever get the band back together. This is the movie that started the Cornetto Trilogy. We want to know, which is your favorite of the three?
