FIRST DAYLIGHT FLIGHT WITH THE DJI FPV 51-87MPH is insanely fast and insanely loud. It was SUCH A RUSH flying at high speeds watching it on the DJI Goggles V2. Need to replace stock propellers with Gemfan Hurricanes to improve the flight time, handling, and noise. Overhead cover with a fluorescent yellow/green with a bright orange/red stripe for high-visibility. #DJI#FPV#RacingDrone#AerialPhotography#AerialVideography

I'm swapping the DJI Goggles V2 (LCD) for DJI Goggles Integra (micro-OLED) for better comfort, intregrated GPS with head tracking, and better weight distribution.
This seems silly but I much prefer the noises the DJI Air 2S makes to what the Mini 4 Pro made. Far more pleasant. The motor check sounds like crickets and the echo effect on the start noise trails off nicely.
Mini 4 Pro motors were like crunch crunch and then POW! I'm alive! So agressive. Calm down Mini 4.
Sold my DJI Mini 4 Pro and traded up (down?) for a DJI Air 2S. Pictures about the same or better. Video worse. But it's got that sweet sweet SDK support for 3rd party apps. :badabing:
I have an old-school #dji Mavic Pro (the model m1p) and am looking into getting in compliance with the new U.S. F.A.A. Remote ID (Part 89) regulations that will begin enforcement on March 16, 2024. I talked to DJI support and they tell me that they won't be rolling out standard RID support for the O.G. Mavic Pro as they have for newer models. So it looks like my only option is adding a third party RID broadcast module to my bird.
I looked at the various BlueMark DroneBeacon and Drone Defence AeroPing modules, but they are pricey enough (~$150+ USD) that I might just go get one of those new, tricked-out UAVs instead, and look for a place to donate my ancient MP. But I hate to give up on something that works really well for my hobbyist projects.
Anyway, my question: is there anything here that I'm missing? Do I have any more options?
