It looks like either a fallacious argument (in which case Sunak is ill-infgomed) or a misdirection to support global #fossilfuel sector profits... take your pick (could be both!)
having said the #oil from the #Rosebank filed would be used to further the UK's #energysecurity it now transpires that it will be sold on the global market as normal....
