This is the thing that makes #internet a true qualitative difference in our world. Post something random, and ten minutes later it's reached someone who's an #expert or lay #enthusiast who responds.
the #court does not expect us to agree with the #principles that are espoused in these #decisions, but they expect us to agree that these are principled decisions. And on the #shadowdocket, when most of these #rulings have no #explanation whatsoever, that really, really complicates the story, especially when, as we've seen over the last five or six years, the #pattern looks far more #nefarious.
There's a more-obvious #explanation, not relying on #racism: the dams and turbines and generators go where the water and the height delta happen to be, in the north, because you cannot generate power otherwise, and the electricity is delivered to the #population centers, where the demand happens to be, because it's people that need power.

But I disagree that a FLAC file is math. It's data; there is no formula that lets you reproduce it starting from a simple initial state. With math, if you know the initial conditions and the rules/formulae/algorithms, anyone can reproduce the final state correctly.

I have an #accessibility question for the #WebDev community: How can I make an accessible spoiler element? On my site, I use a #CSS class to make my div have a black background, and text color set to black. On hover (or on tap on mobile) the background and text color is unset. It's dawned on me though that this surely isn't doing anything for screen readers. So, how might I go about making this work better?
