No matter how sacred people claim they are, religious beliefs are subjective and not immune to criticism just like any other belief system or ideology. Criticism of religion is not an attack on individuals, it's a critique of ideas and practices that have societal implications. Religious people shouldn't be offended by criticism of their religion.

Today, some fascinating research by https://www.prri.org was released regarding support for Christian Nationalism throughout the United States:

Throughout 2023, PRRI interviewed more than 22,000 adults as part of its American Values Atlas, which provides for the first time the ability to estimate support for Christian nationalism in all 50 states. Additionally, this new analysis examines how religion, party, education, race, and other factors intersect with Christian nationalist views.

I would never judge a person based on their .

The same is not true for itself and esoterics. I was always convinced that such belief systems are poisonous to the mind in the sense: If they can make you believe something for life, because you were told so as a child or by a guru or a book (these are the common entry points) without evidence, you can basically be taught anything, if somebody

I'm an infertile atheist. In a fit of desperation while doing IVF, I went into a church and promised that if I could have children, I'd have them baptized. I had twins and returned to fulfill my promise because of superstition. I was then told that because they were IVF babies, they had no souls and couldn't be baptized. So, I went back to my original FUCK RELIGION stance. 🙄
