@thunderbird @thunderbird So… is anyone keeping tabs on ? I can’t say I’m fond of everything they’ve done, but in the world of “we care about using Graph with ” this is starting to gain steam. I’m resisting g the fork, but I’m curious what the team has to say on the subject.

Indeed the latest round of chat revolved around a version of hacked to talk to .

I've had my corporate email handled via both #GMail and #O365 for many years now and I can say with utmost confidence that both are HORRIBLE AS FUCK email services.
Including randomly deleting incoming email because "deduplication" etc.

I'd never accept that level of "service" for my personal email.

I truly do not understand why businesses do.

Five Eyes warning, that APT29 is going after MS customers

Why do I need a Wapo article to stumble over it? Were there any alerts in EU I missed (BSI?)? Any news on this already in European media outlets?

„Microsoft attributed the ongoing attacks to an SVR group that it calls Midnight Blizzard and that other security companies refer to as APT29 or Cozy Bear.“

One 90-minute discussion of Microsoft licensing this morning and my brain goes to mush.

I can't figure out why blocks access to SMTP servers; or maybe blocks starlinks IP ranges? Very strange decision.

At last, to unbundle from their package...

In the meantime, Microsoft has had over three years to completely destroy its competitors and take control of the market... Not because they had the best and/or cheapest solution, but because Microsoft, when the Covid pandemic hit, abused its dominant position and pushed Teams everywhere it could.

How, in the name of all that is fucked up, did someone manage to create an email web interface that's worse than

Asking for a product manager

While AI might be fun some day, right now I'd settle for managing to figure out that when I use the built-in ”Copy to Calendar” option in an email with clearly labelled “Event description”, “Date”, “Start Time” and Teams link in plain text - maybe pre-populate those values in the "New Meeting" dialog? Jeeze…
