Seeking brilliant #planners who know how to #TalkTheTalk...and want to teach others how to do the same!
The Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor to teach courses at the intersection of city and regional planning and communication.
Hello, planner people! I was wondering if any of you would know of a planner that has the vertical weekly view of the Hobonichi Cousin/Hon, and a bunch of undated pages for notes or journaling? I kind of want a Hobonichi Day-Free planner, but with a section at the front with a vertical weekly 2-page spread for logging my day’s activities, food, etc. Does this exist (and is fountain pen friendly)?? Or will I have to somehow roll my own?
Basically doing a quick currently inked roll call then gonna start working on planner set up. Trying to work on my photos. Some of these pens need baths too.
Pen is a Pilot Vanishing Point loaded up with Taccia Ainezu. The pen loop is attached to a Hobonichi pencil board, cut down to size. Back sticker is by skullface.dev.
I am not excellent at planning a complex schedule—it's been a lifelong challenge riddled with disorganization and sprint fixations with #planners. My current planner is the longest I've ever used a planner consistently for—3 quarters! The two things that are different than previous attempts are adding buffers to my schedule and trying to break down tasks. It's a work in progress that I am proud of. @audhd@adhd
@enobacon#transportation#engineers and #planners treat bicycles as a form of recreation. You’ll know that has changed when people of #all_ages_and_abilities can travel by #bicycle from anywhere to everywhere for short in-town trips. OAR 660-12-0600 requires metropolitan cities in #Oregon to plan consistent with that outcome. The real question is whether these communities will fund the construction of a bicycle transportation network meeting the needs of people of #all_ages_and_abilities.
All the stationery stores are getting excited for new planners.
I've done 2 Hobinichis and a Jibun Techo. They're great products. They're just WAY more than I need these days.
So: a simple monthly calendar plus a book for notes for me next year, I think. Though I'll miss that Tomoe River paper.
(Maruman makes a great monthly calendar with Gantt chart pages, btw.) #FountainPens#planners

🇦🇷 On paper, Argentine series #Planners seems innocuous enough : the world of party planners is not exactly the darkest setting out there. And yet, its first episode is gloomier than anticipated... with a hint of (annoying) hope.
What would it take for cities to retrofit or supplement their #bike counters with #eBike detectors? The growth of #eBikes for #transportation trips should not be underestimated. Maybe an EMF or heat signature? How do the standard ones distinguish multiple bikes at once? #pdxBikes#bikeTooter
@Drew#transportation#planners are still thinking things like "a bike heading uphill is slow", not considering space to pass, or how their designs create conflict or lead people on #eBikes to choose the lanes which #trafficEngineers imagined were now reserved just for cars. The general lack of awareness of how their designs function in reality is already bad enough, now they don't even understand what traffic they should design for.
