Ich habe ein kleines Problem, ich habe echt Lust PnP zu spielen. Aber seit einger Zeit kann ich Konzentrationsmäsig weder #PnP leiten noch spielen ich bin nach jeder Runde immer total gestresst. Kennt ihr das auch? #pnpde

Didn't know about that happening. What an ass. I mean, you could have thought of a word not referencing anyone (like dynamic dungeons or something), if you must (not buying the legal argument), but this is an attempt at erasure.
Even if these were valid concerns, retroactively changing the term in all previous work is offensive, to say the least. So I'm not on board with the conclusion of the video – if this was a genuine mistake, somewhere along the editing and erasing I think he would have stopped for a moment and thought about how that will look. I believe him to be smart enough for that. So, no, I'm not buying that excuse bullcrap. ESPECIALLY when the acknowledgement line at the end of the book says "jaquays is the ultimate guru when it comes to xandering the dungeon" – I mean, c'mon, at least, at the very least, at this point you would stop and think "wtf am I writing right now?". If you get past that point without batting an eye, you are full aware what you're doing.
I just learned there are people (D&D5 players) in the here and now who roll the stats of their characters.
And I'm like "Luck-based character generation? Is this the 90s? Do I need to look for my neon glowsticks and technodrome CDs as well?"
#Farscape is like a #DnD campaign in many ways, or at least a good hint at how you might want to structure one as a #dungeonmaster .
Individual characters with different strengths and weaknesses, all pushed together by chance and looking to fulfill their own goals, some of which align.
Episodes sometimes put one character in the spotlight with their backstory and resolve some stuff about them. Then the next character and so on and so forth.
Business is going badly! You're 3 co-owners of a terrific shopping mall! First issue, you don't agree on the word “terrific.” Second issue, your new supplier Mim'Inc is sending some… dubious products. Outdo yourself to create the most attractive floor… and keep the most customers alive at the end of the game!

Als Thema haben wir "Fehler beim Spielleiten und wie man sie vermeiden kann".
Dabei kann es um alle möglichen Arten von Fehlern gehen, z.B. Umgang mit den Mitspielern, Regelkenntnis, Logiklücken beim Abenteuerschreiben, Vorbereitung, Session Zero usw.

We use a service called #PortableNorthPole to generate customized videos from Santa for the kids. They have always been a delight & worth the $18 premium fee.
This year for the first time I noticed #AI generated dialog sprinkled into some of the story time videos. It's SO bad and obvious, that we won't show those ones to the kids because it will spoil the magic of the whole thing.
The AI enshitification of things we love has begun. 😥

VHS: Unchained hatte mich so richtig angelacht.
Also nahm ich das #Rollenspiel mit nach Hause, öffnete begeistert die liebevoll gestaltete Videokassetten-Verpackung, wuselte mich durch die vielen Handouts, Karten und Tokens, und schmökerte im 200 Seiten schweren Regelwerk.
Das war der Punkt, an dem ich feststellte: VHS hat mich nicht angelacht.
Es hat mich ausgelacht. 😑
