The new ruling coming out of the Supreme Court just shows how broken the government in the United States is. It is unacceptable to discriminate against people who are part of the LGBTQ population, even if you are a dumb web designer (which probs use some crappy website builder anyway).

A group of gay furries has claimed responsibility for a series of hacker attacks on various government websites in five states that have enacted anti-trans legislation.

The group, known as SiegedSec, has attacked websites for state and local governments in Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina South Dakota, and Texas. The group most recently leaked data from the city of Fort Worth in Texas and promises to continue such hacks to call out what they see as the transphobic actions of government officials.

I lost my Android phone. So I changed many passwords in the hope that if someone cracked the pin then the apps would demand a new login and be blocked. I found my phone. Tusky does NOT ask for a new login if I change my fosstodon password. Is this poor ?

I just realised that having two-factor codes show up inside your (online!) Password Manager is a bad idea.

Am I wrong?

@geffrey no you are not, having them online is bad, it also depends on what kind of password manager you have, and how they store user data

@geffrey Reason 374 why I don’t use online pass, storage or auth measures, I stick with a non syncing copy of Google Authenticator ( I am moving away from this in favor of my other method ) and security keys. Online vaults make it so if a attacker compromised said vault, they have access to everything that is stored in that vault which makes them a huge target, and unless you can really lock that down and have a nice peace of mind in terms of security, I would avoid Proton pass.
