It is a very scary time, and I don't think there is a quick fix. In the decades that the GOP was building a massive cabal, progressive Democrats were taking the high road, doing the "right" things. IMO, we "niced" ourselves out of democracy. I've come to believe Trump is just as much a Republican tool, as he is a Russian tool.

@GottaLaff My ENT belongs to a 'doctors without borders' like organization. He travels with many other doctors annually. He collects all medications his patients are no longer taking (expired or not) and the doctors pool all the meds and are able to treat many people during their visits.

Joan (my favorite person) made the best matzo balls. A few decades ago, I was assigned the task of bringing the matzo balls to the Seder. Naturally, I called Joan for her recipe.

I’ve been using her recipe ever since, and now I am the one famous in our family for the best matzo balls.
