My brother and I were driving through this small decaying town called Barnett, Mo, and we passed this old mill that looked very old, and grown over. It was covered with cool old signage, and looked really interesting, but there were 5 older people sitting in front of it by a table, and a hand painted sign that says Toxic Club. So, we drive back around, because we had to know, so we pull in, and ask "What is the Toxic Club?", and they say they are just out there most days with coffee and donuts to make sure that people get something to eat, and drink and have someone to chat with. That doesn't sound toxic at all, it sounds lovely.

"The Why Files" is a youTube channel that regularly has videos with over a million views. They started as a kind of paranormal/fringe science channel that was mostly harmless, and that often debunked conspiracies.

But, they've moved beyond that in to material such as suppressed patents for cars that run on water. And treating climate change like it's a unresolved question. This has made their audience grow.

The things is they aren't just spitting lies. 1/

One of the dumber people I know from undergrad is a physician. Beware out there. Do research and critically assess any professionals you employ. Somebody had to be at the bottom of the graduating class.

Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973. I was 10 years old. Put in perspective the fact that until I was 10, abortion was illegal. So, I began my life without bodily autonomy. I had it from ages 10 - 60, and now Iโ€™m back at square one, without any. This RIGHT didnโ€™t even exist for one personโ€™s entire lifetime.

Adults do stuff like this ^^ and the kids grow up thinking it is normal and good actually

Not even thinking outside of that or that it could be different...

It effectively kills change or resistance movements (which is exactly what the SC is going for)

So, my dad has a choice to make at 88. Either have a small operation and live for 10 more yearsish or be satisfied with 88 and donโ€™t have it, take his chances. On the one hand, he says all his friends are dead and heโ€™s not stressed about dying. On the other hand, heโ€™s competitive and wants to live just cause. Weโ€™ll see what happens.๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ

My sister is a middle school teacher in GA. Something racist happened at the school and the white admin. handled it very well. They did all the right things. My sister says sheโ€™s never felt so supported at work anywhere in the nation. Good people are everything.
