Every year, we reap 10 of the 100 wealthiest people to fight to the death. The odds of being chosen are proportional to their net wealth; they can surrender wealth to lower their odds.

The chosen have one week to prepare. If you can afford a giant killer robot, now's the time.

The losers' fortunes are donated to the poorest countries. The winner gets launched into space. If they did very well, they're inside the rocket instead of strapped to it.

Edit : rpool/ROOT/ubuntu_1y6jhj est monté sur /, le système marche, je l'ai rebooté, le kernel du paquet qui plante n'est pas celui que j'utilise. Tout marche sauf que apt refuse de bosser à cause de ce paquet cassé.

A diagonal line of ‘heat’ from bottom left to top right reveals people choosing double digits (2323, 6868 etc). A strong horizontal line at the 19 point shows people using their birth year as a PIN code (1971, 1998 etc). And a large amount of heat in the bottom left shows how people commonly use their birthdate in a MM/DD or DD/MM format. The most common code in the set is 1234.
The Top 20 most common 4 digit PIN numbers, as revealed by an analysis of data breaches, constitute 27% of all PIN numbers. They are 1234, 1111, 0000, 1212, 7777, 1004, 2000, 4444, 2222, 6969, 9999, 3333, 5555, 6666, 1122, 1313,8888,4321,2001,1010

It is so fucking insidious how Facebook in particular has tricked business owners into thinking a Facebook page or Instagram is a proper substitution for an actual website. There is a crochet designer I love, but she is ONLY on Meta products, which means I CANNOT SEE YOU BECAUSE I DO NOT GO THERE.

Un truc que je trouve inadmissible, dans l'obsolescence programmée : Tous ces appareils “connectés” contenant du logiciel, a priori durables (un téléviseur, un robot ménager, un téléphone...), mais qui ne reçoivent des mises-à-jour de logiciel que pendant 2-3 ans max, et après 🤷‍♂️

...Après tu te retrouves avec une palanquée d'objets connectés, criblés de vulnérabilités qui ne seront jamais corrigées, de ta télé à ton téléphone en passant par ta caméra de surveillance, les ampoules de ton salon ou la serrure de ta porte : Welcome to the Internet of Shit.

Challenge aux personnes amatrices de BD :

Je recherche une BD sortie en France dans le courant des années 80, de mémoire au format franco-belge, et qui était à priori un comics à l'origine (éditions Lug ?).
Cette BD était constituée de plusieurs histoires courtes d'horreur, dont la première mettait en scène un gamin qui avait volé des images type Panini chez un buraliste, lesquelles mettaient en scène une invasion extraterrestre (...) 1 sur 2
