I can tell that Guy the #Cat misses his brother Lenny. Guy usually sleeps on the sofa, but last night he stayed in bed, cuddled up beside me. This morning, when I put down his breakfast bowl, he looked over at the place where Lenny‘s bowl should be. Then he looked up at me and gave a very long and plaintive #meow. I got down on the kitchen floor and told him how much I love him.

This is me, talking about how the version of “Maurice” by #EMForster that #DHLawrence read (and from which he borrowed several major plot points for his novel “Lady Chatterley’s Lover”) is not the final version of #Maurice that we have today (and even that is not the final version, because Forster wrote an epilogue that he later excluded where Maurice and Alec run off and become lumberjacks together, proving that even stuffy academics in the #Edwardian era had lumberjack fantasies).
