I parked near some asshole who had a big Trump bumpersticker, and a smaller one that read: "Trump was right about everything."

It took every ounce of self-restraint to not deface it.

@GottaLaff Met a friend for happy hour on Wednesday, only to discover there was a big Kari Lake event in the courtyard adjacent to the restaurant. OMG, what a bunch of nut jobs! I could hear one of the speakers telling the crowd that the Communist Party was donating billions of dollars to the Democrats. There was also some sort of militia group providing “security.” Talk about needing every ounce of restraint in my body to take the long way around to my car.

Back to regular life... the Open House, although filled with positive feedback on our house, was a dud.

Again.

It's so disheartening. We're priced right, the house is beautiful, in great shape, great neighborhood... etc etc.

@GottaLaff @video_manager @JanisKay I’m wondering if there might be any external factors that could be discouraging buyers. When I bought my house, I ruled out quite a few because neighbors had unkempt properties and/or a whole pack of kids, the houses were on busy streets or there was vacant land that could be developed. (The last one ended up coming to fruition when they crammed in a bunch of small homes down the block from me.)

@darwinwoodka @GottaLaff I watched the “Stormy” documentary on Peacock Tuesday night and there’s a segment where she’s reading horrifying threats of violence and death from her phone. She has been receiving them for years and, as far as I know, no one has ever been arrested or prosecuted. I suspect her testimony at this trial will ignite more of the same and I fear for her safety.

@GottaLaff @Dawilson999 Hicks left the WH in March of 2018 to work at Fox News for $1.8M but then went back to work for Trump as “counselor to the president” in March of 2020 (she also served as an aide to Jared Kushner). By then, much was known about Trump’s character, policies and pathological lying but she still worked to get him re-elected and stayed until January, 2021. She is undeserving of anyone’s praise or sympathy, especially from members of the media.
