I'm in one of those "Medicare Advantage" HMO's and just tried to schedule an appointment with a specialist.

Next available appointment is OCTOBER 6TH! (more than a month away.)

TELL ME AGAIN ABOUT LONG LINES AND WAITING WEEKS TO SEE A DOCTOR IN CANADA as reasons why we don't want "-style" in the U.S.? 🤬

Okay, 200M was an exaggeration.

But a significant percentage of that "89%" are seniors & disabled with "MediCare". That's the closest we have to the Canadian system (with the highest approval rating.)

Below that, you have the privately insured, who are subject to "approval" by their insurer who may refuse to cover your injury. If you end up paying out of pocket, your medical bills can bankrupt you.

He hasn't even started campaigning yet and he's either tied with or beating Inmate .

has yet to crack 50% just among voters. The opposition to him is split at least 8 ways. Total their polling numbers and 52% of voters want someone other than .

I am SHOCKED you've never heard of "", probably THE most famous silent film of all time.

TO THIS DAY, there are questions of how Lang achieved his amazing special effects using 1927 technology.

The full film was destroyed in a studio fire in the 1940s, but a global project in the 90s scoured the Earth for prints to reassemble the full film (which you can watch online for free. Just Google: "watch metropolis 1927".)

    Quite simply, No.

    People keep trying to attribute "calculated moves" and "clever planning" to the things The Moron T**** does.

    He doesn't THINK ahead about ANYTHING (most don't. See: Iraq.)

    Inmate can't keep his mouth shut (thank goodness) making his attorney's job more difficult/impossible till they eventually quit.

    Canada is burning up, and no one outside of Canada seems to care.*

    Two weeks ago, when I made a similar lament (https://climatejustice.social/@breadandcircuses/110888244313761100) the deadly toll stood at 13.2 million hectares burned. Now it's up to 15.2 million, again with no end in sight. I grieve.

    • EDIT: After numerous comments, I realized that I should have been more specific about that. Because plenty of people DO care, but it seems our governments and the US corporate media do not.
