@killyourfm This is becoming a plague. I seriously hope the current movement grows and we can have some impact. Apart from losing money essentially, it's also a videogame history preservation issue. It's insane profits make us delete our own history.

Something needs to be done and quickly.

Ok so this absolutely insane thing happened. I launched Gamescope on my AMD iGPU and set Steam to use the Nvidia dGPU. The result is HDR on NVK!

I've had time to reflect on my experience at and my takeaway is: I sincerely miss being "plugged in" to the community 24/7.

Tracking the amazing developments. Interviewing maintainers. Watching the joy as people discover all the cool corners of a distro they're trying for the 1st time. Having a platform like Forbes and YouTube to broadly share this stuff.

At SCaLE many people told me they miss @Linux4Everyone. I miss it too.

Just feeling conflicted and reflective today.

Final Fantasy VII Remake works flawlessly and pumps out 40+ FPS (in non-crowded areas) in 4K in NVK! The dream is coming true at an exceedingly fast pace!

This is my personal favorite song on the EP. I actually cried after doing the vocal take you're hearing (the "make it through" scream in the mix wasn't planned.)

These songs deal with love, longing, and loss -- and this is definitely the one about loss.

YES! Finally was able to capture Counter Strike 2 on NVK! 1440p Ultra 35-45 FPS. Not too shabby for a game that was released last September! :)

Today, I finished my first EP!

I could spent an infinite amount of time polishing these songs (after all, songs are never finished, only abandoned) but they represent a part of my past. I started 2 of these in 2017.

Now it's time to send these off into the world & move forward to what's next. But I have to say I'm thrilled about this collection of songs, and I hope you'll enjoy once it gets released.

Next step: a logo and spinning up the marketing engine.

@niccolove Sorry for tagging you but I'm getting desperate here. XD

Is there the slightest chance Plasma 6 will implement Scrollable Tiling somehow? Karousel is too glitchy and I have to use Gnome (mwaahhhhh) with PaperWM which is absolutely phenomenal! Please take a look into PaperWM, it's absolutely amazing! :)

Also, defining to launch apps in specific workspaces would be a blessing! :)

I really don't understand how people tolerate . I booted back into my Windows 11 install tonight, and it was a total shit show.

AMD graphics driver needed to update, but it couldn't because there was a Windows update pending. When that finally finished and I rebooted, the graphics driver update took a solid 15 minutes (I have gigabit internet...)

And then the ads: "Try Xbox Game Pass!" "Turn on your OneDrive backup!"

Meanwhile, the system is running SO SLOW compared to Kubuntu.

@mina @killyourfm +1 for this! I have stopped throwing away laptops and PCs. I just put Linux on them and give them to relatives.

The amount of junk that could be saved this way is insane. I think it should be legislated honestly.
