@luckytran Just as wasn't a 'gay' problem, is not just affecting the sufferer. is seriously impacting the economy.
Previously intelligent politicians are exhibiting all the signs of cognitive impairment that goes with more than a couple of infections. Antivirals only reduce the severity of symptoms. They don't reduce the damage.

    @donkeyherder 'Back to normal' is a con. There is a new normal. Many millions of people have died of . Many millions more now have , and just as many are just one more infection away from getting , or dying of heart failure. Maybe it is mourning the loss of something gone forever.     Listening to several political podcasts from assorted British commentators this week, there seems to be a consensus that the 's motion was primarily a cynical ploy to embarrass .

    This seems to me to be

    a. Lazy;
    b. Cynical;
    c. Woefully ill-informed about Scotland;
    d. Wrong.

    Even ignoring the fact that the leader of the SNP's wife is , sympathy for the Palestinian cause on the left in Scotland is very widespread.

    @dalfen When I was having children...at the antenatal clinic, I would hear women saying that they never supposed - until nearly at the end of the second trimester - that they would go to term.
    These numbnuts have no bloody idea that miscarriage is a natural though distressing part of nature. That natural conception, and conception through IVF, is as much a gamble as an entry in the State Lottery.

    @dalfen They haven't changed at all from when Palin was running mate for McCain (what was he thinking😯). Anyhoo, some ratbag from one of the southern states opined that girls/women could not get pregnant from rape...because their bodies would 'shut that right down'. [The inference being that it was consensual if they conceived.] This is opinion, but opinion beats science every time with the rabidly religious.
    I do worry greatly when ObGyns come out with obvious junk science. They may be a few against the multitude of ethical specialists, but the media will run with this 💩 gleefully.
