Fediverse, hear my plea. I have an HP Omen 15 and was thinking on switching to due to the progressive enshittification of windows and the garbage. I know Laptops are tricky. What Distro would you recommend? Would Linux Mint fit the bill? I'm more of a KDE/Cinnamon person that a Gnome person FYI

I hear some people saying that, because of the new thing growing rapidly, Mastodon may not grow as fast. Which is... Exactly the point? I need a nice place with human beings to interact with. My mind does not feel ready to fall again into the old rage-bait cycle. The other city already had issues before zombies came. I do not want a prequel. I want something new and better.
