"I am absolutely ARMY! And RM should be president. My favourite BTS song would have to be Boy With Luv because I listened to it incessantly—like, thousands of times—throughout translating the BTS book. It is the perfect song. Everyone’s voice sounds so good but especially J-Hope’s in his rap, it pushes me to the brink of tears with joy."

Squee! This song sucked me in, too. It's the perfect pop song. You can't be unhappy listening to it.

Bruce Lee’s highly publicized friendship with NBA legend and civil rights advocate Kareem Abdul-Jabbar also became a symbol of solidarity and allyship across communities."

"Data from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice obtained from a state lawmaker showed its 68 prisons without air conditioning were sweltering last month, averaging well over 85 degrees. That would be a safety violation for a county jail, which mandates temperatures remain below 85 degrees.

But no such regulation exists for state prisons — some of which reached as high as 106

Cruel and unusual, non?

If more doctors and nurses sign up, as current providers hope they will, the numbers could climb far higher."

Even as progressive states seek to protect abortion and gender affirming care within our borders, anti-choice states are continuing to expand the threat that they will prosecute residents who leave the state to find evidence-based medical treatment. Every hotel reservation and bridge toll will be just one subpoena away from being used against a patient in court.”

The last time someone in our household got Covid, we were able to keep it from spreading to anyone else. ♥️🙏🏿 This time we were not so lucky. My Covid high score streak is finally broken! Rona got me y'all!

Completely unscientific observations of how this thing looks to have beat our mitigations:

Day 0: Contagious. No symptoms. Negative tests.

Day 1: Contagious. Slight symptoms. Negative test.

Day 2: Contagious. More severe symptoms. Positive tests.

I'm sorry, I hope you and your family recover quickly! Take it easy and hopefully you have sick leave available.

I got COVID once last 4th of July sitting outdoors on a small, humid patio with stagnant air. I know because that was my only maskless exposure before my day 0 and then day 1 with sore throat.

I still KN95 mask everywhere indoors. I occasionally eat indoors in less crowded restaurants, but it stresses me out.

A: Everything will be fine. There will be times when you feel at your worst. I’ve had that kind of time too. But when you look back at it, it becomes a memory, and you can learn from it. It’ll be okay in the end.
