Of employers who forced staff back to the office, 42% said "attrition" was higher than normal, 21% said the move had actually lost them some of their "key" staff. 29% were now "struggling" to recruit altogether. Ha ha ha. https://www.theregister.com/2023/06/29/wfh_rto_survey/

random question, as i'm too lazy to research this properly ... but are there any nice bikes out there with the same design as these Eovolt ones (step-through, cargo bit over the backwheel) that are not electric? /cc @pete

@patrick_h_lauke @pete I'd ride a bike and lose some of my excess kilos if I didn't feel like I'd be taking my life in my hands in my local area.

I never know what to do when adding subheading titles to an article.
<h1>Stuart's Food Guide</h1>
<h2>or, Pies I Have Known</h2>
<h3>by Stuart</h3>

but then what do I use for titles for each of the sections? <h1>? <h2>? <h3>? maybe <h4>?

Anyway, now I do know, because @SteveFaulkner has written https://www.tpgi.com/subheadings-subtitles-alternative-titles-and-taglines-in-html/ which Explains All This and it's good.

Short answer:
<hgroup>
<h1>Stuart's Food Guide</h1>
<p>or, Pies I Have Known</p>
<p>by Stuart</p>
</hgroup>

<h2>Section 1: Meat</h2>

OMG an actual implementation of what is essentially font-size: fit-container! @kizu has https://kizu.dev/fit-to-width-text/ -- relies on CSS animation-timeline which is Blink-only right now (are there statements of support or not from Moz or Webkit anywhere?), and it's essentially a hack (but Roman explicitly says it'd be good to see this properly supported, which I like because I've wanted it for years). Clever bit of work! I still don't properly understand it, but it's great. /via @brucelawson
