YES! Chattanooga VW workers vote to unionize with UAW

Considering it’s VW and UAWi expect a contract will get worked out pretty timely if the state and local governments in Tennessee doesn’t figure out ways to knife the process

We used to talk about this a lot in Chattanooga DSA with folks who worked at the plant so I’m really hyped about this.

I have officially lost 50 lbs since last July 😊

I can now run for 30 minutes without a walking break, and I run 3x a week.

I do strength training 3-4x a week, and have gone from not being able to lift myself at all on the pull up bar with the strongest resistance band, to doing a full pull up with that band - I've moved on to the next band now.

I can lift and carry all of my kids, two at a time. I can give my kids piggy back rides. I can roller skate for 2 hours with my daughter.

The Google brain drain is gonna be real from project nimbus. I already know some folks looking for new work because they see their colleagues getting hit with racism like getting called “terrorists” with no repercussions from Google.

I used to mock older Cuban conservatives who said they could never vote for a Democrat because of the betrayal at the bay of pigs.

The university has instructed medical staff on campus to deny medical care to these students, they don’t all have insurance. Some have been hospitalized.

Through all this, the university continues to say they have zero control over their own money, and won’t meet with strikers.
