Tough day for me as a fan as the Detroit Tigers have signed announcer Jason Benetti to a multi-year contract. Jason is a great announcer and I am going to miss him. Don't know who they replace him with yet. I was hoping for Len Kasper but apparently he will stay on the Sox radio team. fans, get ready, you are in for an absolute treat

I will post something that’s like “haha everyone likes pizza in their tummy” and 100 men who I have never interacted with before will individually appear to tell me they hate pizza and actually pizza is bad for you and you should already know that and they don’t even call it their tummy they call it their stomach okay

Kat and I were married 25 years ago today.

There is no way we could have imagined what lay ahead for us, but we somehow made it through and we still lean on each other, hold each other up, try to look out for each other. We aren’t perfect at it, nobody is, but we try.

There are many things I wish had gone differently, but our partnership isn’t one of them. And now it’s an entire generation old. Incredible.

Happy Birthday to African American educator and activist Mary McLeod Bethune (born July 10, 1875). Founded National Council of Negro Women, national advisor to POTUS, started school for Black students in Florida (later became the HBCU Bethune-Cookman University), leader of many Black women’s organizations, fearless voting rights activist.
