Every so often I have this 'bloody hell technology' moment when I stand in awe of how things work.

I might be passing where the fibre cable goes into my house, or looking at the access point in the ceiling.

@revk You need to be logged in to see and submit the form. The facebook app annoyingly opens the form in a pop-up browser window and doesn't SSO you into Facebook. They must have designed this pattern to be annoying as possible.

As an amateur photographer, and only from my own opinion:

  1. All photos that you see in print or on screen are processed in some way. There is no such thing as 'no filter’.

  2. iPhone and Android cameras make all sorts of decisions about the final result. What you see on screen is likely a composite of several frames and several lenses/sensors. The phone is literally manipulating the image you see.

  3. I take many photos where arms, hands, and fingers look unnatural.

My hopes for starting walking more, having lapsed over Christmas week, have been seriously hampered by the local weather. For the first time in the nearly 3 years here in Wales I got a lift to the Indian. I always walk (and beat my wife who often drives). But not today. This does not bode well for getting healthier. It was a nice meal. It was not a resolution as such, more of a hope, sadly dashed for now.
