I know I’m bad at math, but how does this make any sense at all? The Red Sox have won more games than the Orioles, played more games than the Orioles and yet they’re in second place from the lead. Can someone please explain this in a way that makes any sense?!

If you're still on mstdn.ca, I REALLY recommend you go into your settings and download all your CVS files (followers, etc.) as they're once again within two months of shutting down from lack of funds.

@WTL @stephanie Sure, but the problem here is an instance run by one person who refuses to set up a sustainable structure for the instance. The result is begging money from those closest to the instance admin every few months.

Tesla has texted or called me at least 10 times in the last month to offer incentives if I lease a new car with them after my Model Y ends at the start of May. They are quite litterally desperate.

If I chose to re-up with them I could get quite a deal. I’ve told their reps multiple times I won’t support Tesla as along as Elon Musk is the CEO of the company. Gotta wonder how long Tesla shareholders will put up with him in charge. https://mastodon.online/@electrek/112201815082910986

@gedeonm I agree with you completely. Unfortunately I can't find an EV that I want right now (I prefer hatchbacks and sedans, and pickings are very slim) so I will probably have to go back to an ICE vehicle for a few years to avoid the mental stress of any Musk association.

2022: Our workers are important. Employees who are infected with should stay home for at least five days.

@gedeonm I test drove one. It drove enough but I couldn’t get past the design - both inside and out. That doesn’t mean it’s bad but if you’re considering it, I’d definitely test drive one first.

I don’t know what I will replace my Tesla with. I want out but nothing is hitting me as a slam dunk.

Never give cash to anyone who claims they represent a company, a lawyer, or the government, and they need the cash to help you out. @amr @gruber @glennf Including the demand to take out $50k in cash (with no issues doing that at the bank) and hand it over physically to a confederate?

I don't have any direct expertise, but there are ways to scam people that don't involve the risk of immediate arrest. Would scammers actually risk that, say, the bank wouldn't call it out and make arrangements for police involvement?
