Have been known to meticulously edit photos to create something fantastical, but quite often just scribble on things.

@aronow Oooh, we didn't get a wish, but the number of blows it took to clear all the seeds away was meant to tell you the time. I like that there are different stories about them!

I fear it was not a hugely reliable method of timekeeping.

@morph I'm wondering if it's very geographically targeted. I'm glad in the original post I edited my original "blow on a dandelion clock" to seed head, as I would definitely have made even less sense than normal to quite a few people.

@LaimesKudikis Oh fluffs is a very good name. Someone else mentioned making a wish too.

We would blow on them, and count how many blows it took for all the seeds to go, and that was the time!

I don't think we ever made wreaths from dandelions, but we did make daisy chains.

It's Friday! Woo! It's been an unusual week and I nearly forgot 🤦‍♀️

Anyhow, week 50 of the dancers and, as ever, I hope you all have a fine weekend if you possibly can 😀

Hand drawn animation loop. There are 50 simple figures each doing their own dance move. The main body of the screen is a red starburst sky, with a rainbow framing the top. 47 dancers are on the lines of the rainbow, doing their thing. The new dancer for this week is larger, and centre stage on a cloud at the bottom, with a dancer either side for company.

Does anyone know of a UK supermarket that sells little individual ice cream tubs? The sort you used to be able to get in packs of 10. Mum in Law used to like having them, but we can't find them anywhere now. I know it's excess packaging, but it was so convenient for her. A big tub is hard to scoop out of, and ends up getting harder and harder.

@suearcher Sainsbury's have Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream Mini Cups, but it's the pricey end of the ice-cream market, although cheaper if you have a nectar card.

@suearcher Hehe, yeah, they do look tasty. What about buying a big tub of vanilla (or whatever) and a set of small reusable pots, and re-potting for her? A bit of a faff but could solve the problem.

Edit: if you ever get takeouts the wee pots they put sauces in with an Indian meal could work well. We re-use for all sorts, but have definitely frozen them.

@drnoble For a really long time there as well. They think there have been mills there for centuries (the one still standing is a mere couple of hundred years old!)
