“Empty Innovation” at Re:Publica 2024

Under the motto "Who Cares" Re:Publica gathered a few thousand people in Berlin and I got to give a talk continuing the path I started out on with my last two talks in 2022 and 2023. Titled "Empty Innovation" I tried outlining my understanding of the patterns of the weird technological hypes we've gone through in the last years, why they happen and also what this mode of "innovation" does to us as people, communities and societies.

I like the idea of a demand list to measure against and started to think about what would probably on my list

And than I started thinking about demands, needs, wishes, goals.

And than I started thinking about whether it is okay to write down only demands regarding myself and if it is apropiate to have demands for and/or depending on someone else.
Are there even demands that only depend / concern myself or are demands in one or the other way always affecting others.
Or is the involvement of others even necessary to qualify as a demand.

These are the thoughts that are currently on my mind and it is fun to think this through.

Parteiprogramme sind wichtig, gut und richtig. Im besten Fall kann ich daraus entnehmen, wie sich in Zukunft entschieden werden könnte. Mit der Information zusammen, wie in konkreten Fällen wirklich entschieden wurde, habe ich eine gute Möglichkeit eine faktenbasierte Entscheidung zu treffen.

Gibt es da für Bund und Länder eigentlich eine Datenbank mit den Abstimmungen und Ergebnissen? 🧐

Ich habe einen zweiten Spielleiterschirm gebaut.
Ursprünglich war geplant die Außenflächen noch mit Abbildungen zu bemalen, zu denen die Skizzen bereits vorliegen. Vielleicht bleiben sie auch einfach weiß.

Ich habe da mal eine vermutlich sehr dumme Frage 🙃 oder bin einfach nur zu blöd zum Lesen.

Im D&D Spielerhandbuch steht zur Bonusaktion "... erlauben dir, in deinem Zug eine zusätzlich Aktion auszuführen, die Bonusaktion genannt wird ..."
Was ich nirgendwo gefunden habe, sind diese Merkmale, Zauber, Fähigkeiten, die solche Bonusaktionen gewähren.
Wie erhält eine Person also diese besagte Bonusaktion?

- Greenwashing? Hat mein Stromversorger Green Planet Energy nicht nötig. GPE wurde vor über 20 Jahren durch die Umweltschutzorganisation Greenpeace gegründet und setzt sich als Genossenschaft für eine sozial verträgliche, wirtschaftlich verantwortliche, partizipative und umweltschonende Energiewende ein. Als einziger Versorger Deutschlands erfüllt Green Planet Energy dabei die Greenpeace-Kriterien für sauberen Strom.

Hi, hab hier mein Wohnzimmer-Mulit-Effektgerät, das ein neues Zuhause sucht.

Gekauft im November 2019 und seitdem im Wohnzimmer im Wesentlichen zum Üben verwendet.
Dementsprechend sind praktisch keine Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden und die OVP gibt's auch noch.

Preislich orientieren wir uns am Neupreis (z.B. Thomann) und berücksichtigen dann natürlich Alter und Benutzung.
Wichtig wäre, ob überhaupt Interesse besteht und bei realistischen Vorstellungen werden wir uns bestimmt einig.
Bei Interesse oder Fragen gern per DM melden.
