Went ahead and finished To Green Angel Tower by today. I really appreciate the way it ended. These three books made up a great fantasy series that I genuinely think doesn't get enough recognition.

Also if you're purchasing your audiobooks with credits, this book itself is 63 hours long. You definitely get your money's worth.

Next I will swing back to sci-fi and read The Terraformers by @annaleen

This was my first time rereading since I was in high school, and I think I've discovered that I never actually finished it. Or else I lost all memory of the ending because it felt fresh to me.

I intend to check out the newer entries in the Osten Ard world, but want to work on some other series before going back in.

I read a little bit of Feist. I enjoyed it but it didn't really stick with me very much. I would say the same of the Dragonlance books I read back then.

A neat addition that looks to be coming in a future update to Mastodon. Being not a developer, I’m wondering whether this is information that is passed along with the notification itself, or if it’s the work of the client to go and pull the information. Seems like the former would make it easier for other clients to adopt something similar. Hoping to see this in Fedilab @apps and @phanpy in the future.

  1. It's been my observation that in general terms there are three moderation styles on Mastodon:

🔥 Wild West: Anything goes.

☯️ Balanced: Give users a wide berth but bans extreme content and mandate content warnings for suggestive material.

🪂 Safe Space: Tightly moderated, ban extreme content, ban aggressive content, ban pornography, require content warnings for all suggestive/adult material and language.

Should there be other categories?

@mike Giving potential users that heads-up can really only be beneficial. The problem is that at one end of the spectrum presented, the admins are least likely to bother giving that information.
